BLUE MOO FIREFIGHTER? BLUE MOO STOPS BY THE BROOKLYN PARK FIRE DEPARTMENT
Back in 2015, the first year that BLUE MOO started operating, I stopped by the Brooklyn Park Fire Department with some cold treats and a big THANK YOU. This was to show my appreciation to the great men and women that serve our community on a daily basis. Little did I know back then, that now in 2018, I would be training with them as a part of their explorers program to one day be a part of their crew as a Firefighter / Paramedic. I have a long way to go in my training, but this community is where I call home. And I couldn't think of a better bunch to one day call a part of my family.

BLUE MOO VISITS CRESCENT COVE
BLUE MOO had the opportunity today to meet with Tara and Katy from Crescent Cove. We were provided a tour of Crescent Cove and to find out more about their mission of helping kids and their families. Crescent Cove is a children’s respite and hospice home located on Twin Lakes in Brooklyn Center, MN. The home will provide short, respite breaks for children with life-threatening conditions and their families, and an option beyond the hospital or home environment for compassionate, end-of-life care. Crescent Cove is only one of three children's respite and hospice care centers in the United States.

BLUE MOO ATTENDS THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE GALA ON OCTOBER 3, 2015!
BLUE MOO was invited to attend the 2015 Ronald McDonald House gala held at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
Belinda Jenson, from KARE11 TV, was the Emcee for the evening. The one of the many highlights of the evening is when Belinda Jenson called me up on stage, in front of about 850 people, to talk about how I sold ice cream and donated profits to the Ronald McDonald House. Never in a million years did I think that I would ever have a chance to attend this gala, nor did I ever think that I would be able to attend such a spectacular event! A big THANKS to Donna Moores at the Ronald McDonald House for inviting me, my parents and my sister to such a wonderful event! |

BLUE MOO VISITS THE "RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE" WITH A "GIVING BACK" DONATION
October 3, 2015: This is the day that BLUE MOO has been working all summer for. I made a promise at the beginning of this season to donate 100% of the profits from the sale of Jonny Pops to the Ronald McDonald House of Minneapolis.
That day has finally arrived!!! I was a little more than excited... I couldn't believe after 6 months, this day had finally arrived. This morning I presented a check in the amount of $225.00 to the Ronald McDonald House!!! Thank you to all of you who purchased a Jonny Pop from BLUE MOO this summer. The amount that was raised will help many families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their children are undergoing life saving medical treatments. KARE11 found out that BLUE MOO was presenting the Ronald McDonald house the donation check, and they even stopped by to create a piece on BLUE MOO. |

BLUE MOO APPEARS "LIVE" ON THE FOX9 MORNING SHOW
BLUE MOO received a message from one of the producers at FOX9 last weekend asking if I would be interested in doing a live, on-air segment on the Saturday, 10/3/15 morning show.
I was thrilled to say yes. (ok, I was as nervous as could be) but to get the word out about BLUE MOO, The Ronald McDonald House and their cause, I did my best to keep my nerves in check. Before the segment, I got to spend some time in the FOX9 Green Room... wish it could have been BLUE, but green is ok too. Donna Moores from The Ronald McDonald House joined me and we talked Ice Cream, Jonny Pops and SMILES! |

BLUE MOO SAYS "THANK YOU" TO TERRI & RICH AT LUCELINE ORCHARD IN WATERTOWN, MINNESOTA!
July 19, 2015: BLUE MOO went to Watertown, Minnesota today to visit LuceLine Orchard.
LuceLine was in the path of the tornado that went through Watertown on Friday evening. LuceLine Orchard lost over 5,000 apple trees in the storm. So I wanted to take my ice cream truck there and pass out FREE ice cream to anyone who was helping clean up. Since it was also National Ice Cream day, I thought that this would be a good way to say THANK YOU as well as spread a little cheer. I want to say a big THANK YOU to Terri and Rich for allowing me to come out to your beautiful orchard and share a little happiness with everyone. I look forward to coming back to your orchard this fall to sample those wonderful apples and to visit with both of you again. |

It was BLUE MOO's first parade and BLUE MOO was chosen for an award... how cool is that! When BLUE MOO started operating just a few short months ago, meeting people and bringing smiles to everyone's faces by providing cold treats to ice cream lovers of all ages was one thing I had hoped to do, I never dreamed that BLUE MOO would be awarded with such a great recognition.BLUE MOO would like to give a big "Thank you" to the City of Brooklyn Park, everyone at involved in putting on The Tater Daze event, as well as everyone that came out to the parade today to have a wonderful time!!!
