How does an ice cream truck work at a school event?BLUE MOO brings a mobile ice cream truck stocked with commercially manufactured, individually packaged frozen treats directly to your school event. Students, families, and staff choose from the available menu, and everything is served directly from the truck. We do not prepare food or serve soft-serve ice cream. How many students can you serve?BLUE MOO serves school events ranging from smaller gatherings to large events with hundreds of students and family members. Estimated attendance, event length, and whether everyone will be served at once help us determine the best service plan for your event. How much time should we allow for the ice cream truck?The amount of time needed depends on attendance and how your event is scheduled. An event where students arrive in groups may require a different service plan than one where hundreds of students are released at the same time. Share your estimated attendance and event schedule with us so we can plan appropriately. Can students pay individually?Yes! BLUE MOO offers both Individual Pay and Host-Paid school events. With Individual Pay, students and families purchase their own treats at the truck. With Host-Paid service, the school, PTO, or sponsoring organization covers the treats. Do you offer fundraising?Qualified school events may be eligible for our fundraising program. Ask us for details when requesting your quote. Do you offer options for students with dietary restrictions?Our menu includes a variety of commercially manufactured, individually packaged frozen treats, including select products made in a peanut-free facility, as well as gluten-free, vegan, kosher, and organic options. Product ingredients, allergen information, dietary information, manufacturing practices, and formulations are provided by the manufacturer and may change without notice. Please review the current individual product packaging for the most up-to-date ingredient, allergen, dietary, and manufacturing information. How early should we book?Spring school events and end-of-year celebrations fill quickly. We recommend booking as early as possible. What areas do you serve?BLUE MOO serves invited school events throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Availability varies by location and may depend on local licensing, permit, or property requirements. Include your school's city and ZIP code when requesting a quote so we can confirm availability. Can we choose the treats?Absolutely! We'll help you select a menu that works well for your students and event. If your school has specific product exclusions, dietary considerations, or menu requirements, please let us know in advance so we can determine whether the request can be accommodated. What if it rains?If weather affects your event, contact us as soon as possible and we'll discuss the options available. How do we get a quote?Complete our online quote request form with your school name, event date, start and end time, city, ZIP code, estimated attendance, and preferred payment method.
